“Chronic Lyme disease does not need to happen, the goal is to diagnose before it progresses into a chronic stage. My mission is to help people heal and raise Lyme disease awareness to prevent more from becoming sick.”

Opinionated, authoritative, and compelling, Mara Williams makes it clear that Lyme Disease requires wholesale changes in the healthcare system in order to properly prevent, diagnose, treat and heal this growing epidemic. A healthcare professional for over thirty years and one of America’s leading experts on Lyme Disease, Mara is also the author of the transformative book Nature’s Dirty Needle—What You Need to Know About Chronic Lyme Disease and How To Get the Help To Feel Better. She is also the founder of Inanna House, a healing center for Chronic Lyme Disease in Northern California.

Please join us at the Library’s temporary location at 34 West Water Street on Tuesday, October 30,  at 3:00 pm for this free talk of major local importance.
