Three new recordings have been added to the Sage Commons Oral History page here on It’s Germane. The first two are with long-time library-users and  current members of our Board of Trustees: Carol Williams and Craig Rhodes. The third is with one of the Library’s most active patrons, and the reader of many, many books, Josephine Worm. Many other interviews in which local library-users recall their early and more recent experiences with the John Jermain Memorial Library are also available in The Sage Commons section of this blog. (See menu bar above.)

Listen to them all here: To go directly to the newly posted interviews click here.

The three new interviews, which are each about 20 minutes long, were conducted by Oral History Project Coordinator, Martha Potter. Audio editing service contributed by Peter Mikochik of, Shelter Island, NY.

Update: A fourth oral history, an interview with long-time library user Jessie Paige, was added to Sage Commons on August 30th.
