Celebrate National Library Week 2011
Celebrate National Library Week at the John Jermain Memorial Library, April 10-16, 2011, by helping us create a John Jermain Memory Tree. Each branch of the tree will blossom with stories and memories of the 100 years of the John Jermain Memorial Library. Come into the library, take a tag and fix your memory to the tree. We will bring the tree with us to the temporary space, and plant it when our renovations are completed. You can also sign up to add your story to our oral history collection, Memories of John Jermain. Listen to the already collected stories right here on the Sage Commons section of It’s Germane.

The John Jermain Memorial Library is the public library in Sag Harbor, NY. Founded in 1910, the library building and initial collection was a gift from Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage to the people of Sag Harbor. From June 2011 to July 2013 the library will be located at 34 W. Water St., in Sag Harbor, while our historic building is renovated and expanded.
