Book and Author Luncheon
The Friends’ annual Book and Author Luncheon will be held on Sunday, December 5th at 12:00 at the American Hotel. The speakers will be Ivana Lowell, heiress to the Guinness fortune, who will discuss her new book, Why Not Say What Happened, and writer, editor and publisher, Jason Epstein. The cost is $50 per person. For reservations call Chris Tice at 725-3803.

New York City Bus Trip
The annual Bus Trip to Manhattan sponsored by the Friends will take place on Wednesday, December 8th. Boarding will take place behind Apple Bank at 7:45 a.m. The bus will return to the same location at 7:00 p.m. Cost is $30.00 per person for the round trip. November Meeting Date Changed
The next meeting of the Friends of the John Jermain Library will be on Friday, November 12, 2010, at 2:00 p.m. in the library’s rotunda. The date has been changed because the library will be closed on Thursday, November 11th, for Veterans’ Day.

The John Jermain Memorial Library is the public library in Sag Harbor, NY. Founded in 1910, the library building and initial collection was a gift from Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage to the people of Sag Harbor. From June 2011 to July 2013 the library will be located at 34 W. Water St., in Sag Harbor, while our historic building is renovated and expanded.
