As mentioned in a previous post, at their October 26th meeting, The Sag Harbor Village Planning Board deemed The John Jermain Memorial Library’s Draft Environmental Impact Statement (DEIS) complete and scheduled a public hearing on the library’s application for November 23rd at 6:00 p.m., at Village Hall.

The Completed DEIS for the library’s renovation and expansion project can be viewed using the links below.*

UPDATE (11/24/10): The Sag Harbor Planning Board will hold a work session on JJML’s building and expansion project on Monday, December 6th at 3:00 p.m. at the Municipal Building. Written comments from the public will be accepted until December 4th.

The John Jermain Memorial Library is the public library in Sag Harbor, NY. Founded in 1910, the library building and initial collection was a gift from Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage to the people of Sag Harbor. From June 2011 to July 2013 the library will be located at 34 W. Water St., in Sag Harbor, while our historic building is renovated and expanded.
