2nd Public Meeting on Library’s Renovation & Expansion

The second public meeting to discuss JJML’s plans for renovation and expansion will be held on Wednesday, May 6th at 5:15 p.m. in the rotunda on the Library’s third floor. This meeting is an opportunity for community members to be brought up to date on the Library’s plans for renovation and expansion of its building at 201 Main Street. Participants will have an opportunity to review evolving floor plans and a preliminary exterior design. Information regarding the estimated cost of the project will also be presented. The library is looking forward to the opportunity to receive feedback on the plan from the community.

The John Jermain Memorial Library is the public library in Sag Harbor, NY. Founded in 1910, the library building and initial collection was a gift from Margaret Olivia Slocum Sage to the people of Sag Harbor. From June 2011 to July 2013 the library will be located at 34 W. Water St., in Sag Harbor, while our historic building is renovated and expanded.
