Free Bus Tour of East End Libraries

The public is invited to join Library Director Allison Gray and members of the Library Development Committee on a tour of five East End libraries on Friday, November 17th. We will be visiting libraries on both the north and south forks to see how they have addressed their space needs, and to discuss with them how well their solutions have worked.

High points will include a visit to a library with a restored historic building that it rents out for events; as well as a visit to a library with a brand new young adult area. The five libraries are Amagansett, Rogers Memorial (Southampton), Hampton Bays, Mattituck-Laurel and Southold. The bus will leave at 9:00 a.m. and will be back no later than 5:00 p.m. Bringing your own brown-bag lunch is recommended.

If you would like to come along on this free bus trip, please call 725-0049, extension 23, no later than November 10th.
